What do they say about small packages? Prolific wouldn't be one of them. But boy is Jape's Richie Egan prolific - starting out as a member of post-rock-no-vocals-duo the Redneck Manifesto, where they used to make a hell of a racket; Jape went out on his own vocal-infused tangent, and met with great indie-acclaim in Dublin (his homebase) and across Ireland. His tune "Floating" has been covered by such luminaries as Brendan Benson (when he plays as part of The Raconteurs), and Soul Wax.
