Description:
There's always a sense of come-on-to-fuck with The Redneck Manifesto, a bit like fellow Dublin band the Jimmy Cake, I guess, in that you're always waiting for the climax, the crescendo, and it never comes. They build and build, upwards of five minutes, and you just want that release, but they don't give it to you. It's a positive, I guess that they can make you feel so, but a frustration that you've missed your thrill and that moment where you get your release. Sex without the orgasm, I suppose.
