Bray Jazz Festival celebrates its 11th anniversary this year. Started in 2000, the festival has enjoyed a growing reputation for consistently showcasing of contemporary musical improvisers from both at home and abroad. Bray Jazz Festival aims to deliver a richly diverse and varied programme featuring some of the very finest players in jazz and improvised music. Firmly established as a major international music festival weekend in the East Coast, the festival was described as "one of the very best little jazz festivals in Europe" by the highly respected 'All About Jazz' last year. Since its earliest days, Bray Jazz has also attracted widespread public support - and the event has become a 'date in the diary' for an ever increasing number of music lovers from both across Ireland and abroad.
