The blurb goes like this:
"The Contemporary Music Centre is delighted to present Music in the Historic Quarter, a celebration of a rich tradition of music in the heart of Dublin City which continues right up to the present day.
The Music in the Historic Quarter festival consists of an Outdoor Music Trail taking place from 21 August until 1 September which features selected works by Irish composers playing in various locations throughout Dublin's Historic Quarter. An inner trail consisting of three locations (The Gutter Bookshop on Cow's Lane, The Contemporary Music Centre on Fishamble Street and the Civic Offices at the Christ Church entrance) playing open air music runs daily from 1pm to 4pm. An extended trail incorporating the first three locations plus two additional locations (the Dubh Linn Gardens and St. Patrick's Park) can be followed and listened to with a smartphone by downloading the free Layar application for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and Android devices. In addition, the festival also offers a full event programme of concerts and recitals taking place throughout Dublin's Historic Quarter. "
