Description:
As old and dingy and fabulous as it gets. One of Dublin's most authentic bars, and one of the few truly genuinely live traditional Irish music bars, where the tunes are on-show not for the tourists, but because this is the way bars in Dublin are supposed to be. Top notch, good pints and the music is free. However, upstairs is a small live music venue, where you do have to pay a few quid to get in to enjoy good quality live traditional Irish music.Location: 77, North King Street, Stoneybatter, Dublin 7

An exciting new residency for the Back Room! KÃla’s irrepressible frontman Rónán Ó’Snodaigh (Vox/Bodhrán/Guitar) teams up with the talented singer songwriter 'Mad Dog' Mick Molloy (Vox/Bodhrán/Guitar) and the traditional stylings of Bernie McDonagh(Tin Whistle) to bring you an unique show on the last thursday of every month. Bernie provides virtuoso tin whistle, Rónán serves up driving primal rhythms and vocal styles, while Mick delivers heartfelt songs for the disaffected post Celtic Tiger generation. Last month saw musicians from all over drop in and join in, so expect the unexpected, and come early to avoid disappointment!
