Description:
The home of Gaelic Games, headquarters of the GAA (Gaelic Athletic Association), and with a capacity for 82,300 people, Croke Park has been at the heart of Irish sporting life for over a hundred years. In 2009 the GAA celebrated 125 years since its foundation. On occasion the very largest concerts - such as those of U2, The Police and Robbie Williams - have been performed here, and the venue takes on a very different look and feel to the one so many thousands are accustomed to from large hurling and gaelic football matches.Location: 12, Jones Road, Dublin 3
This venue also known as: Páirc an Chrócaigh
