The definitive local pub for Trinity College, and a little gem in its own right. Most important of all - for readers of this website - are the Tuesday night Ruby Sessions which have been run upstairs for what most be over ten years now. For about six quid per person, you get about four singer-songwriter performances, with all monies going to charity. This is no run of the mill stuff either, to candlelight and a crowd of no more than 40 to 50 people, the likes of Damien Rice, Lisa Hannigan and Cathy Davey have performed, about 1000s more.
