The Liberty Hall Centre is a custom built multi-use venue created by SIPTU next to its landmark headquarters at Eden Quay in the heart of Dublin. The Centre is designed to cater for the widest possible range of social and cultural events, including lectures, conferences, seminars, straight drama, musical theatre, pantomime and music of all kinds. There are two performance areas, the main theatre facility with seating for 410; and The Larkin, an alternative venue for smaller events with flexible 200 seater capacity.Location: Beresford Place, Dublin 1

Festival Update
Expect fresh and exciting pieces by dynamic composers including: the world premiere of a new piece by Nico Muhly,well known for his collaborations with artists such as Sam Amidon, Antony and the Johnsons, Björk and Jonsi from Sigur Rós; Sean Friar, whose 'Velvet Hammer' has been nominated for this year's Gaudeamus Prize; Missy Mazzoli, dubbed 'Brooklyn's post-millenial Mozart' (Time Out NY); Timothy Andres, who Alex Ross (The Rest is Noise) says “achieves an unhurried grandeur that has rarely been felt in American music since John Adams" and Ken Ueno, winner of the 2010-2011 Berlin Prize, whose influences range from Tuvan throat-singing and Heavy Metal subtone vocals to Japanese traditional music. There will be a pre-show talk at 6pm with Nico Muhly and Bernard Clarke (Nova,RTE lyric fm) in the Connolly Room of Liberty Hall.
