Description:
Temple Bar Square, right in the heart of the eponymous named district, and not to be confused with the nearby Meetinghouse Square. The ground zero for much of the mayhem that is the Temple Bar area of the city. Saturday sees a book fair, which is a rarity in the city, though it's a shame it's so small. Buskers frequent the various corners of the area, and can be of a pretty decent quality. Nearby is the grotty but homely Eamonn Dorans venue (see our review on another page), the aforementioned Meetinghouse Square with its farmer's market, and the fine Irish Film Institute (IFM) which is a gem in the this tourist heartland.Location: Temple Bar Square, Temple Bar, Dublin 2
