Description:

Run by the guys at Bodytonic, this place has had a new lease of live over the last three or so years. Dating back a century-plus of Guinness-serving, it has become a centre of electronica, art and general oddness - and much welcomed in the fairly homogenic Dublin pub scene it is. More suited to serving the south-side indie kids than the city centre crowd located as it is in Portobello, it's got centre-stage in the area, standing as it does on a major corner, alongside a canal and across the road from a private college. Quality spot, well worth a visit.

Location: 11, Richmond Street South, Portobello, Dublin 8
