The Kitchen Nightclub opened in the basement of the Clarence Hotel in Dublin in 1994. Owned by U2's Bono and Edge, for years the club was the hangout for glamorous rocks stars and supermoodels, hipsters who loved the dance and hedonists who loved to sweat. After eight years it closed. It reopened in mid-2011 with a new facelift, and is again located underneath the Clarence Hotel, in the midst of Temple Bar. Open from Wednesday through Sunday every week. The club opens from 11.00pm to 3.00am but from 9.30pm to 2.30am on Sundays.Location: The Clarence Hotel, East Essex Street,, Temple Bar, Dublin 2
