Considering it's a tourist mecca, the Temple Bar bar in Temple Bar has miraculously won the Irish Music Pub of the Year annually from 2002 to 2009, which is quite an accolade. Live traditional music sessions run daily. Each session can carry on for up to three hours, from the favorite ballads to instrumental sessions. Ladlane formed in 2004 in Dublin. The band features Eugene Quinn from Templeogue, Dublin on guitar/banjo/vocals, Ray Dempsey from Ballyduff, Co. Waterford on accordion and Colm Keane from somewhere in north county Dublin on fiddle/vocals.
