The Last Tycoons were formed in 2007, evolving from highly acclaimed Dublin band Porn Trauma. Their current single 'The Dry Law' is the flagship for their debut album and was released on Friday, June 12th, 2009. The album's release is planned for early 2010.

 

Power of Dreams were formed in Dublin in 1989 by songwriter Craig Walker. The band’s debut ep “A Little Piece of God” was voted Single of The Week in UK music weeklies Melody Maker and Sounds, which led to them signing to Polydor. Their first album, “Immigrants, Emigrants and Me”, received glowing reviews worldwide with Craig Walker garnering praise for a lyrical maturity beyond his 18 years and the band’s spiky indie pop assault winning fans among press and public alike. Power of Dreams embarked on a global tour, taking in more than 20 countries in the space of a year, including Japan and the US. Live, the band were hailed for their blistering sonic attack and soaring melodies.

 

Indie label Smalltown America are having a better start to the year than they could have ever dreamed of, with Instrumental signing And So I Watch You From Afar snapping up nominations for both Irelands Choice Music Prize and XFM’s Album of the year. The nominations are massive news for the band and label alike and is a great follow up to the bands 2009, which saw them play 170 shows and headline the Ulster Hall in December.

 

In-store. Since their first live appearances, Eimog have been steadily attracting the attention of both audience and critics by staging awe-inspiring, emotionally transcendent atmospheric performances. Four months after they were formed, Eimog teamed up with indie band Fine Before You Came for a series of live concerts around Italy. The experience helped the band consolidating their live sound as well as expanding their fan base. Shortly after the successful live experience with Fine Before You Came, Eimog released a 6-song demo tape called “Untitled ”. The demo tape was self-produced and self-distributed and was very well received by their increasing number of fans. The band made it twice to the finals of Italia Wave Love Festival and won a number of national music contests, gaining more confidence as they toured and played their instrumental set in front of bigger audiences.
